1. Who we are
MauiWeb is a software library and licensing service made by AppMare (“AppMare”, “we”, “us”). These Terms cover the MauiWeb library, this website, your MauiWeb account and any licence you buy. By creating an account, installing MauiWeb or buying a licence, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MauiWeb.
2. What MauiWeb is
MauiWeb runs a .NET MAUI app as a website: it renders your app's pages on your own server and sends them to the visitor's browser. You host and run your site yourself; we do not host your app, your data or your visitors' data.
3. Free use
Development: you may use MauiWeb without a key on localhost, private network addresses and .local, .test, .localhost and .internal hosts, for building and testing, with no time limit.
Community: open-source projects and students may ask us for a free key for one domain. We decide each request and may withdraw a Community key that is used outside these conditions.
4. Your licence
A paid licence lets everyone in your organisation use MauiWeb on the domains listed on your order, within your plan's limit: Starter 1 domain, Professional 5 domains, Enterprise 100 domains. example.com and www.example.com count as one domain. There is no limit on developers or visitors.
- The licence key works only on the domains listed on your order.
- Starter and Professional orders can change their domains up to three times per licence year; Enterprise orders can change them at any time.
- Each licence year includes every MauiWeb release published during that year. Your key keeps working with those releases after the year ends. Renew to get newer releases and support.
- You must not share, sell or publish your key, use it on domains that are not on your order, or try to get around the licence check.
5. Licence check
A site running MauiWeb with a key contacts our licence server about once a day to confirm the key is still valid. It sends only the key's ID, the domain and the MauiWeb version. If the check cannot reach us for 7 days, visitors see a notice asking the site owner to restore the connection. If a key is revoked or a domain is removed from its order, visitors see an unlicensed notice on that domain.
6. Prices, payment and renewal
Licences are sold through our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
- Prices are in US dollars and billed yearly. Taxes are added at checkout where they apply. The full amount is shown before you pay.
- Licences renew automatically every year at the price shown, until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your order page, from your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net. Cancelling stops future renewals; your licence stays valid until the end of the year you paid for.
- We may change prices for future renewals and will tell you before they apply.
7. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal. See the Refund Policy.
8. Your code and ours
Your app, your code and your content stay yours. MauiWeb, its source code, documentation and branding remain ours and our licensors'. These Terms give you only the rights they state.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use MauiWeb for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful sites, to distribute malware, or to infringe other people's rights. You must not attack, overload or probe our servers.
10. Suspension and termination
We may revoke a key or close an account if you seriously breach these Terms, if a payment is reversed, or if we reasonably believe a key is being misused. You may stop using MauiWeb and close your account at any time.
11. Disclaimer and liability
MauiWeb is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and change the date above; important changes will also be sent to your account email.
